DES PLAINES RIVER AT RIVERSIDE AFFECTING COOK COUNTY.

FOR THE DES PLAINES RIVER...INCLUDING RIVERSIDE...MINOR FLOODING IS FORECASTED TO OCCUR.

* WHAT...MINOR FLOODING IS FORECASTED.

* WHERE...DES PLAINES RIVER FROM ROOSEVELT ROAD IN FOREST PARK DOWNSTREAM TO HODGKINS, INCLUDING THE RIVERSIDE GAUGE.

* WHEN...FROM LATE TONIGHT TO EARLY MONDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...AT 7.5 FEET, LOW-LYING SECTIONS OF MILLER MEADOW, INDIAN GARDENS, CERMAK WOODS, OTTAWA TRAIL WOODS, AND OTHER FOREST LAND ALONG THE RIVER ARE INUNDATED.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - AT 11:45 AM CDT SATURDAY THE STAGE WAS 7.1 FEET. - FORECAST...THE RIVER IS EXPECTED TO RISE TO A CREST NEAR FLOOD STAGE TONIGHT AND INTO TOMORROW. IT IS THEN EXPECTED TO FALL EARLY NEXT WEEK. - FLOOD STAGE IS 7.5 FEET. - HTTP: WWW.WEATHER.GOV SAFETY FLOOD
