What time of day does the morning brief arrive?
The brief arrives each morning at the time you configure in your account. Set it to fit your routine, before your commute, before the workday starts, or first thing when you wake up.
Which forecast does the brief come from?
iAlert generates a custom pinpoint forecast for each location you've selected. Today, tonight, and the 5-day outlook built specifically for your city or town.
Can I get the brief for more than one location?
Yes. Add as many locations to your account as you want covered. Each location triggers its own morning brief to the channel you've chosen.
What's the difference between this and Hourly Forecast Alerts?
Daily Forecast Alerts deliver a morning brief once a day with an extended 5-day outlook via email notification. Hourly Forecast Alerts deliver a weather alert when forecast conditions match criteria you've selected, hour-by-hour up to 36 hours out.
Is the extended 5-day outlook included in text notifications?
No. The 5-day outlook is delivered by email only. Extended forecast content is too long for text message format, so text delivery includes today and tonight's forecast. Many subscribers enjoy the quick today view by text and also select email to receive the extended outlook.
Does the brief still send if there's no severe weather?
Yes. Although alerts are included if active, the brief is a planning product. It arrives every morning regardless of conditions. For warning-triggered notifications, pair it with Severe Weather Alerts or Lightning Detection Alerts.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from your iAlert account. The subscription ends at the close of the current billing month and no further charges occur.
