Questions, answered

Before you subscribe.

What weather parameters can I set thresholds on?
Nine parameter types are supported: temperature, wind chill, heat index, dew point, wind speed, wind gust, visibility, weather type, and hourly rainfall. Each parameter is its own alert, configured per location.
What observation stations are monitored?
iAlert continuously monitors nearly 3,000 aviation weather stations at airports across the U.S. Select the station nearest your location and you will be notified the moment conditions cross your threshold.
How fast does an alert arrive after a threshold is crossed?
The alert is immediately sent the moment your selected station reading crosses the defined threshold. Delivery time after that depends on your channel: email and text typically arrive within seconds.
Can I set both a high and a low threshold on the same reading?
Yes. High and low threshold settings are supported for a single station location through your online configuration panel.
How many devices can receive an alert?
One primary email and one text-enabled device per subscription. The same threshold can alert across both channels at the same time.
Can I add Observation Alerts to an existing iAlert account?
Yes. Add the service to your cart and log in when prompted during checkout. Once signup is complete, you can immediately configure Observation Alerts for your locations. Many users subscribe to multiple iAlert services to meet their needs.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from your iAlert account. The subscription ends at the close of the current billing month and no further charges occur.
